After graduating from the Niagara College Law Clerk program in 2008, I started working full time for a family law lawyer at a prominent law firm in Niagara Falls before moving to Toronto in 2010. I soon learned that this was the area of law I was the most passionate about and the best fit for me overall. My positive attitude and empathetic nature assists clients in navigating through the emotional family law process. As such, I have worked exclusively in the area of family law from the outset of my career as a law clerk. I am dedicated to my clients and always have their well-being and best interests at heart. I pride myself in fostering trusting relationships with all of my clients and co-workers.
Being a multi-tasker with a strong work ethic, I balance work from a diverse group of lawyers and manage whatever is given to me with assurance. I have extensive experience in the financial areas of family law and regularly assist my colleagues with complex financial disclosure and all the issues arising from it.
While working full time, I continued my education at George Brown College in the Paralegal Certificate Program to further my knowledge in law. Upon graduating with honours from that program, I obtained my P1 Paralegal Licence from the Law Society of Upper Canada in December 2016. This designation sets me apart from other Law Clerks as it has made me a more well-rounded professional.
With a few marathons under my belt, I spend my free time living an active style and travelling the world with my husband, family and friends.
