Full Bio

Associate Lawyer, B.Sc., J.D.

Julie has been practising exclusively in family law since 2013, and also worked as a family law clerk for 7 years prior to being called to the Ontario Bar. With her unique experience in family law, she has the ability to manage all the details with precision, while still keeping focused on the big picture. As a lawyer, Julie has experience with mediation and litigation, and has dealt with a broad range of issues in financial matters as well as custody and access disputes.

Julie represents clients who are settlement-focused, and who are aiming to reach an amicable resolution with their former spouse. Although Julie is settlement-oriented, she is also a strong advocate for clients who need to litigate their issues in contentious matters. Julie is able to tailor her style and approach based on each client’s individual needs. Our clients appreciate Julie’s genuine compassion for them during this difficult time in their lives. Upon working with Julie, clients quickly find Julie to be their voice of reason, as well as their strong support system, both in the legal and emotional sense.

On her down time, Julie enjoys trying new restaurants all around the Greater Toronto Area, as well as back-packing around the world, preferably off the beaten path.
