At a very young age, I realized that I wanted a career in law and so I tailored my education around this goal. After graduating from University of Toronto with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, I joined a full service law firm in Mississauga where I was able to work in civil, criminal and family law. Working at this firm allowed me to experience various aspects of law but within a few months, I discovered my passion for family law. I found that I excelled in working directly with clients. Many clients are intimidated by the family law process and overwhelmed by the complex emotions that result from a separation. I strive to give them the support they need. There is nothing more rewarding than helping clients through a difficult time in their lives and that feeling helped me decide that I wanted to pursue a career in family law.
In 2016, I joined a boutique Toronto family law firm and had the opportunity to continue to hone my skills. I was chosen to assist in the preparation of two complex trials, which allowed me to gain hands on experience within a courtroom. Over the last few years, I have gained extensive knowledge in preparing Financial Statements, Disclosure Briefs and other court materials. As I continue to grow my career and further my education, I want to make sure that anything new I learn will help me keep my focus on building client relationships and supporting them in any way I can.
When I am not working, I love listening to music, watching murder mysteries and travelling with my family and friends. I am also a huge Toronto Raptors fan – go Raptors!
I have had the privileged of having Tyler Teichert as an attorney in my grand child acsuss case for over 2 years. Before Tyler I sought out legal counsel with other attorney’s. Tyler is trustworthy, honest. Truly one of a kind. I also would like to comment on his staff. Through out this long battle since 2017 and still on going. I have never encountered an attorney or there staff who are like Tyler Teichert, Ramsha Khan and Rachel Healy. They are fabulous and I’m so grateful to have them to answer all my questions and represent me in my case. Thanks again
“I hope to always be a source of comfort and support to all of my clients. If I am then I know I am doing my job right”.
